tvOS App Store, as one of the most exciting new features of Apple TV 4 both for developers and users. However, the new TV App Store not working well compared to iOS version, although it already available several months. To get more user attention, Apple need to introduce some fresh ‘blood’ in this platform, such as those popular games, to attract more players sitting in the living room playing with Apple TV.
Now, according to reliable sources the developer 2K Sports is now planning to launch NBA 2K16 TV Edition on tvOS. Broadly speaking, NBA 2K16 TV Edition is an upgrade of the current version of iOS, it can be said that a special version for Apple TV users. That Apple TV support also includes the capability to play the game with a third-party supported game controller.
NBA 2K16 TV Edition for Apple TV will be priced at $9.99, which no doubt more attractive than the home console systems. but then again, those also feature improved graphics and the like. The Apple TV version looks nice, don’t get us wrong, but when you have the Xbox One and PS4, which are capable of pushing huge numbers of pixels around at blindingly quick pace, the Apple TV just isn’t going to compete. But does it matter?
The previous rumors also claimed that Apple will bring a major update for Apple TV launch in the iPhone SE event, by then the company may announce more game available for tvOS, such as NBA 2K16, Rock Band 4, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout 4, Need for Speed, Ori Definitive Edition, TV / apps , etc.
