WWDC 2016 Keynote to be Live Streamed on June 13

Today, Apple updated its events page to confirm that it will be live streaming the Worldwide Developers Conference Keynote on June 13.

The keynote event will kick off at 10:00 am at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

Apple uses HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology, so you will be able to watch the keynote live on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Apple should also add a new channel for the WWDC 2016 Keynote on the Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation) so you can watch it live on your television.

It is one of the most anticipated Apple events of the year. At the WWDC Keynote, Apple is widely expected to unveil iOS 10, and the next major software updates for OS X, watchOS and tvOS. As many of you have pointed out, the WWDC 2016 banner strongly suggests that Apple may introduce a system-wide Night mode feature in iOS 10.
