Apple always work according to plan, they seeds the second beta of iOS 9.1 and tvOS to developers today.
iOS 9.1 beta 2 comes two weeks after seeding the first iOS 9.1 beta. iOS 9.1 beta not only added a host of new emojis and other interesting new features, the new version of iOS reportedly added supports for accessories like the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.
iOS 9.1 beta 2 is now available as an OTA update for users who have already installed iOS 9.1 beta 1. New firmware is also available in Member Center on Apple’s Developer website. Non-developers can download the ipsw files from IMZDL once they published the download links.
Meantime, the second beta for tvOS also unveiled, which is the operating system running the show on the upcoming Apple TV 4. This new software is meant for the developers out there in the wild that recently received the new Apple TV dev units, which started arriving on doorsteps on September 18.
The new tvOS beta can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center, and the software is build 13T5365h. As far as what’s new, it’s known at this point, but if anything is discovered we’ll update accordingly.
