Today, Google brings an important update for their Maps app in iTunes Store. Addition to various bug fixes and the stability and usability improvements, new version 4.11.0 added support for Apple Watch, this means now you can get directions to places now on your Apple Watch via Google Maps.
Google Maps always been a powerful application, except the simple maps and navigation featuers, that also includes an ability to easily compare estimated time of arrival across several different modes of transportation, including biking, walking, transit and driving. There’s a new List of Places that will let you immediately get directions or call an establishment, too.
With Google Maps for iOS, you can easily compare how quickly it takes to get from point A to point B by way of driving, transit, walking, and even biking, so that you can decide what the best way to get to your destination will be. Moreover, the application makes it easier to call businesses and get directions to businesses with a new detailed list of places.
Google Maps 4.11.0 now available at App Store for free, and there’s a link below for anyone that doesn’t already have it installed.
